10 Best Nightlife in Sentosa Island
From Singapore-Guide on Jun 19, 2017
Most of the nightlife in Sentosa takes full advantage of one of the island’s main selling points: its beaches. Whilst these are all manmade, the imported white soft sand and tropical palm trees create a perfect getaway from downtown Singapore, and plenty of beach bars, clubs and lounges have popped up on the shoreline taking full advantage of the picturesque views. Most of these bars open from around midday, with things really starting to warm up when the sun goes down and the music is turned up. Party-goers should also look out for the monthly parties held along the Siloso Beach and Tanjong Beaches. Other than sumptuous beach bars, our list of the 10 best Nightlife in Sentosa also features a number of child-friendly activities, including some spectacular light and water shows. Read on to discover all the best places to go out night in Sentosa, Singapore.
1 Tanjong Beach Club
Unlike other beach bars on Sentosa which haven’t survived the test of time, Tanjong Beach Club still stands proud as one of the longest running and well-loved party places on the island. This all in-one-venue (bar, restaurant, and club) has all the essential ingredients needed to make the perfect beach bar: sumptuous sea views, a great swimming pool for guests and a fine list of food and drinks (we particularly love their cocktails). Tanjong Beach Club also has another trick up its sleeve which pulls in the punters: beach parties! Monthly events such as Smack My beach Up and Full Steam Ahead play host to some of the best local DJ talent and welcome a party hungry crowd that drink, dance and swim into the early hours. Great fun, but finding your way home from Sentosa after midnight? Not so much (taxis are available but in high demand).
Opening Hours: Tue - Fri 11:00 - 23:00, Sat - Sun 10:00 - 00:00 (party times differ)

2 Mambo Beach Club
This swanky beachside bar goes for the whole ‘Miami Beach club’ vibe with its array of white-cushioned loungers, luxurious swimming pool and several sections designated for VIPs. The huge venue can hold up to 500 people, and as well as laying on an extensive all-day food and drinks menu, Mambo Beach Club hosts regular parties featuring international DJs to keep the place rocking until around midnight. Arrive in the daytime for an ultra-chilled out vibe without any party antics (Mambo Beach Club even welcomes families with young children who can use their pool). But as the night wears on and the drinks flow, expect things to get a bit livelier – particularly on weekends or public holidays.

Throw in huge fountains of water that are shot up into the night sky, illuminated brilliantly with lasers and LED lights, and you have yourself one must-see Sentosa show. Songs of the Sea is a perfect way to spend the evening, either to keep the kids entertained, for a romantic date, or just a spot to practice your photography skills (getting that winning shot is quite a challenge).

6 Crane Dance
Singapore’s Crane Dance is a family friendly audio visual extravaganza, similar in style to the Symphony of Lights in Hong Kong. Head to Resorts World Sentosa on any night of the week at 20:00 to see two graceful love-birds dance and flirt to the sound of music, all of which is spectacularly lit up in the dark. The show promises groundbreaking audio visuals, water effects and LED light which really impress the crowds who come to watch - for free - every night. You can also catch the show from across the water at Vivo City on the main Singapore Island if you don’t fancy making the short journey across to Sentosa Island.

7 Coastes Singapore
With its white washed decking and glorious sea views set against the backdrop of white sands and palm trees, Coastes at Sentosa could fit right in on any beach in nearby Thailand or Bali. Laze away the day on one of their loungers (free - if you’re dining or drinking at the bar) and explore their surprisingly delicious range of food and drinks. Coastes specialises in feel good burgers, pizzas, pasta and seafood – no frills, but they still certainly hit the spot. With some all-day opening hours (opening every day at 09:00), Coastes is one of the best and only places to hit if you’re up early and are craving some breakfast on the beach. Find Coastes situated between Sand Bar and Bikini Bar on the ever-popular Siloso Beach on Sentosa Island.

8 Hard Rock Cafe (Resorts World Sentosa)
Most Hard Rock Cafes around the world are generally accessible via street-level. This one is a bit of an exception, as it’s located within a shopping mall (The Forum), within a resort (Resorts World), on an island (Sentosa). Nevertheless, the Hard Rock Cafe at Sentosa still delivers that oh-so familiar classic American rock charm, with nightly live performances and plenty of vintage memorabilia hanging from the walls. Expect the same menu as you would in any other branch, plus a few Asian dishes thrown into the mix too. Not worth a special trip alone (if you’re really craving your Hard Rock fix in Singapore, head to the other branch on Orchard Road), but definitely a good option if you fancy a drink after your live show/shopping excursion at Resorts World.
Opening Hours: 11:00 - 01:00 Daily
Address: 26 Sentosa Gateway, #01-209 to 214 The Forum, Singapore 098138

9 Bikini Bar
A perfect example of how the name of a bar can adequately describe what to expect, Bikini Bar is a fun daytime and evening spot on Siloso Beach that draws in a steady flow of females in their swimwear. Rather than going for the exclusive ‘Miami’ vibe that many of Sentosa’s beach bars try so hard to replicate, Bikini Bar takes itself a little less seriously, with more of hippy-hangout vibe going for it created by some beach games, lively music and cheap drinks. It also has a claim to fame as being ‘Singapore’s first and only Bintang bar’, with two bottles of the Indonesian beer going for S$16. They also do cheap margaritas (S$8) for ladies that show up in bikinis at their monthly parties.
Opening Hours: Mon - Thu 14:00 - 13:00, Fri 14:00 - 01:00, Sat 11:00 - 01:00, Sun 11:00 - 23:00
Address: #01-01, 50 Siloso Beach Walk, Sentosa Island, Singapore
Tel: +65 6631 8938
10 Cove Stadium Bistro & Sports Bar
Cove Stadium is Sentosa’s only night spot dedicated to showing live matches, although this is much more than just a sports bar. The bistro and bar boasts some stunning views of the waterfront marina and the whole place has a rather sophisticated feel to it with some lavish furnishings and romantic mood lighting. As the emphasis is on live spots (there are football, rugby, cricket matches every day), don’t expect anything overly creative with the food menu. Instead, it’s mostly hearty pub grub that’s served up in generous portions, such as burgers, steaks, pies and pastas. They also run happy hours on selected beers, wines and spirits on weekdays until 10pm. You can find Cove Stadium Bistro & Sports Bar located at Quayside Isle at Sentosa Cove.
Opening Hours: 12:00 - 01:00 Daily
Address: Quayside Isle, Sentosa Cove, 31 Ocean Way #01-04,05
